My mission is to help shift the narrative, so women get the representation, research, and results they deserve.
Your Story of Transformation
I know firsthand what it feels like to live in a body that doesn’t always cooperate. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, I spent years feeling like fitness either ignored my reality or pushed me into burnout. Through trial, error, and refinement, I discovered that strength training, done with compassion and strategy, was the key to rebuilding my energy, confidence, and resilience.
Today, I’m not just stronger in the gym. I’m stronger as a mom, a wife, and a coach. That transformation fuels my mission: helping other women discover that their bodies are not broken. With the right approach, you can lift, move, and live with strength that lasts.

Before working with Amy, I had never lifted weights and honestly didn’t think I’d ever enjoy working out. But she made the gym feel like a welcoming and empowering space. Her guidance, encouragement, and knowledge helped me build both confidence and strength. Now, weightlifting is something I genuinely look forward to—and I owe that transformation to her incredible coaching.

As a former collegiate athlete, training with Coach Amy has healed my relationship with lifting and strength training. After taking time off, she helped me ease back in with workouts that feel safe, empowering, and sustainable. She’s taught me proper technique, the importance of breath work, and how to leave the gym feeling accomplished, without the pressure to drain myself. I feel comfortable, confident, and stronger training with her!

I enjoyed training with coach Amy. She is open and honest and truly listens to her athletes. She adapted workouts when needed and provided several modification options to fit my needs. She pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave helpful feedback to improve my form and technique, which allowed me to lift with more confidence.
FAQ
I’m worried about flares. Will training make it worse?
I plan for flare variability with built-in pacing, RPE caps, and deloads. If a flare hits, you’ll have a movement menu and recovery plan.
Do I need experience?
Nope. I’ll teach technique and scale loads safely.
Can I train during perimenopause?
Yes, and you should—strength supports muscle, bone, and mood. I match intensity to your recovery.

“Summer body” culture thrives on urgency, but this post offers a far more powerful perspective: summer is not the goal, just three months in a much longer life of building strength. Instead of chasing quick fixes, it reframes fitness around longevity, resilience, and the kind of training that still matters decades from now. You’ll get a compelling look at why consistency beats intensity, what habits are actually worth protecting through a busy summer, and how to stay grounded when the world tells you to panic. If you’re ready to stop measuring progress by a season and start training for a strong, capable life, this is a perspective worth sitting with.
Feeling exhausted, stuck in a plateau, or like your body just isn’t responding to all the effort you’re putting in? This post unpacks a powerful truth many women never get told: the issue may not be your metabolism, motivation, or age — it may be under-recovery. With a clear look at the real signs of recovery deficits, the everyday factors that quietly sabotage progress, and the shifts that actually help your body adapt and get stronger, this is the kind of insight that can change how you train for good.
What if the most meaningful results of strength training had nothing to do with the scale? This post tells the stories of five women whose muscle showed up in real life: standing up without using their hands, carrying heavy loads with ease, moving with better posture, building a stronger foundation, and finding steadiness in the middle of grief. It’s a powerful reminder that strength isn’t about shrinking your body, but expanding what your life can hold. If you’ve ever wondered what muscle actually does, these stories reveal just enough to make you see training in a completely different way.
