Closing the Year Strong: A Look Back—and What’s Ahead for 2026
As we close out another year, I want to take a moment to breathe, reflect, and offer gratitude—for the work we did, the strength we built, and the women who chose to trust Refinery Strength Collective with their health, confidence, and courage.
Because if this year taught us anything, it’s this:
Strength is rarely loud, but it’s always powerful.
And together, we built a whole lot of it.

A Year of Refinement: 2025 in Review

This year wasn’t about perfection.
It wasn’t about fast results or flashy progress.
It was about refining.

✨ Women Showed Up Braver Than Ever

I watched beginners become lifters.
I watched seasoned lifters return after seasons of burnout, childbirth, autoimmune flares, and overwhelm.
I watched confidence grow exponentially, in the gym and at home.
You didn’t just get stronger.
You got more resilient, more grounded, more YOU.

✨ Refinery Strength Collective Continued to Grow Roots

What started as a clear calling from God has grown into a community with purpose.
This year, we strengthened our foundation:
  • More women joined coaching, virtually and in-person
  • New workshops launched, focused on metabolism, strength, and support
  • We expanded conversations around autoimmune health and sustainable fitness
  • The brand message grew louder: progress over perfection, strength over quick fixes, longevity over hustle

✨ Wins Worth Celebrating

Some were big—deadlift PRs, consistent routines, long-term habits sticking.
Some were quiet—choosing rest without guilt, showing up when motivation was low, gaining confidence in movement again.
Every victory mattered.
Every step counted.
Every ounce of grit honored the mission of Refinery:
Faith-forward. Grit-built. Longevity-led.

What 2025 Taught Us

This year offered a few loud and clear lessons:

1. Your body will always respond to consistency, not intensity.

Quick fixes fade.
Slow, steady effort lasts.

2. Community is a form of strength.

Women supporting women is powerful.
And this community is just getting started.

3. You are allowed to grow in seasons—not sprints.

Strength has chapters.
And every chapter matters.

4. Your calling matters.

God doesn’t nudge halfway.
When He calls, it’s on purpose.
And this mission? It’s only just beginning.

Looking Ahead to 2026: A Year for the Long Game

If 2025 was about refinement,
2026 is about rise.
Not the hustle kind.
Not the burnout kind.
Not the “new year, new you” kind.
The grounded kind.
The rooted kind.
The kind that lasts.

✨ Expect a Continued Focus on Longevity

More coaching.
More education.
More intentional programming designed for women in every season of life.

✨ Expect More Community

More special events.
More challenges (the sustainable kind).
More ways to connect with women walking the same road.

✨ Expect Deeper Support for Women with Autoimmune Conditions

You are not being overlooked.
You are not being asked to “push through.”
2026 brings more tailored resources, coaching, and understanding.

✨ Expect Strength—Inside & Out

Not forced.
Not rushed.
Not performative.
Just steady, confident, faith-rooted strength.

My Prayer and Hope for You in 2026

That you learn to trust your body.
That you honor your pace.
That you choose strength, not pressure.
That you feel supported, seen, and capable.
That you walk into a new year with your head held high,
not because you want to change everything…
but because you’re ready to build on everything you’ve already begun.
2026 isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about becoming more of who you already are
strong, resilient, and being refined daily.
Thank you for being part of this mission.
Thank you for trusting me with your strength journey.
Thank you for showing up, for trying, for growing, for believing.
Here’s to another year of faith, grit, and strength.
Here’s to 2026—the year of the long game.
You’re just getting started.
And I’m right here with you.

Amy, Refinery Strength Collective 🖤💪✨

Meet Amy Karas

Hi, I’m Amy Karas—coach, mom, and believer in grit built over time. I help women cultivate durable strength through smart, compassionate training. After years coaching diverse women, I saw how many were under-served by one-size-fits-all fitness—especially those with autoimmune conditions or shifting seasons like postpartum or perimenopause. Refinery Strength Collective was born to change that.

Creds & Lived Insight:
